Yeah, time and efficiency is a huge one. It's actually one of my favorite topics to make content on, so I'd like to make more of it. We have an extra video coming out soon, probably next week on Thursday or Friday that goes into that a lot even though it isn't the main topic of the video. We also just recorded an episode for the Creator Files podcast that we plan to publish on Friday the 16th that is entirely about saving time without sacrificing quality on your RUclips vids. I run into the same thing on my personal channel. I don't find more than 5 hours to put into it a week and so I don't make progress. Maybe I will test out publishing content on that channel for only 5 hours a week as a challenge and make a case study video off of it. No promises at this point but I'd love to do something with that. Thanks for the ideas and input! Well, the tool isn't out yet, so I guess we might not technically be considered affiliates, but as soon as we can, we will be! For us, this partnership has meant testing the Alpha version of this product, providing feedback to the engineers, they improve it and then we use it some more. We are also pushing to add features and capability that we KNOW will actually help creators. As they do a good job of building these things into the tool, we get to be a part of their growth and success and you as our audience member will likely get the best treatment of anyone using the tool. :)

It varies so much that a good click through rate is whatever is above average for your channel. Also keep in mind that if RUclips spreads a video beyond your normal audience, your click through rate is going to go down. That’s because RUclips is trying your video with audiences it’s less sure of. That’s okay and totally normal!

You’ll build better momentum publishing then one per day than if you publish them all at once. Or you could do 2 per week. Whatever you want. But I wouldn’t do more than 1 per day. ~Ricky

Im not an expert, but the first thing that I noticed when I clicked on one of your newest videos is that the first full minute was just advertising for yourself. Subscribing, clicking the bell, joining membership and so on. But I think people will just click away if they have to wait one full minute until they get what they clicked the video for. And also they won't subsrcibe if you ask them before you even delivered anything... If I compare it to your older more watched videos, they are just straight to the point. Maybe try that more?

Honestly, the production value is extremely low and you are spamming several videos per day, it seems desperate. Focus more on quality over quantity, or you will drown in content that nobody wants to see. I mean, if you don't care about your videos, why should anyone else?

I’m sorry. It’s worked for several people today. It’s important that you use the Google email address associated with your RUclips channel. Maybe that’s the problem?

@ChannelMakers Really? I tried it first with the email associated with my channel and then with a different email. I will try it now with my computer, yesterday I just tried it when I was on my phone.

Once the full suite is ready we’ll do a comparison. From my experience with both tools, this is fundamentally different from and substantially more helpful to me than any other RUclips video planning tool I’ve ever used. ~Ricky

Oh yikes! Would you be down to give us some screenshots or more info on what happened with that? We're trying to document as much as possible so that we know how common these problems are.

@@ChannelMakers Hi! I appreciate what you are doing with this; it's very useful! I'm afraid I don't have any screenshots. What happened was that I ran a test on a video I recently uploaded and asked some people who had watched the video what thumbnail they saw. They told me, "I only saw a thumbnail with your face," meaning a frame from the video of me talking. When I found this out, I immediately ended the test and chose a thumbnail, and I noticed that the average watch time increased significantly when I did it. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it, but it really caught my attention.

@@ChannelMakers Signing up to the waitlist requires granting access to a RUclips account, including all financial metrics. Based on the policy docs, it looks like this also allows Spotter to train their AI on all linked accounts, regardless of if/when we get access to the tool. I'm a bit concerned about granting that level of access. Can y'all comment on this?

Yeah I hear ya. For your concern about if/when you'll get access - if you're on the waitlist you will *for sure* get access to the free trial once it's officially released. You may also be asked to be a beta tester before that or you may not. We aren't allowed to say when, but it's soon. I understand your concerns on the privacy thing. Any RUclips tool or web extension that is going to be customized to your channel using A.I. will have to ask for access to those things. And many of them want that level of access even if they don't offer A.I. features. Hope that helps and thanks for bringing that up. Your privacy is completely your decision and we understand 100% if that's a dealbreaker for you on this tool.

I get that the tool needs access in order to function; I just don't want my financial data to be part of the AI's next training set. Maybe that didn't come across clearly.

It's not about copying! It's about noticing trends, finding great topics and using that information to inspire us to create. You need to find what makes you and your content unique, that's what will make people want to watch you! Even if you talk about the same topics or have similar video style to other creators, you will do it in your way! 🙂

You'll get there! It's such a learning curve and there's an aspect of just giving RUclips enough time and content to find your ideal audience. When it hits, sometimes it really hits! But more often it's just small improvements over lots of reps that lead to success on RUclips.
